On 26 November 2025, in the “Grand Dome” ceremonial hall of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Eighth Plenary Conference of the National Convention on the European Union in North Macedonia (NCEU-MK) will take place, supported by the EU Delegation, SlovakAid, Central European Initiative – CEI, and organized in partnership with the Assembly. The event will begin at 09:30.

This year’s conference is organized as a joint event with the Fourth Plenary Conference within the regional project “Let Justice Rule the Region”, supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the MATRA programme, with active participation of partners from Serbia and Albania. The focus is placed on regional integration, exchange of best practices, and advancing reform processes in key areas of the European agenda.

Under the title “Reforms Beyond Rhetoric: Regional Challenges on the Path to the European Union”, the conference will present the key conclusions and recommendations from the seven structured dialogue sessions held throughout 2025, with particular emphasis on the rule of law, accountability, and institutional strengthening.
As a continuation of the plenary event, a joint meeting of expert teams from North Macedonia, Albania, and Serbia will be held on 27 November at Hotel “Panoramika”, on the topic “Rule of Law: from National Initiatives to Regional Results”, with participation of civil society representatives from CEI member states.
These events aim to foster constructive, regionally oriented dialogue and meaningfully contribute to advancing the European integration process.
