Today, on 22nd February 2023, the NKEU-MK team held a meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Finance, where the previous work was presented, but topics related to future cooperation were discussed at the dialogue in Cluster 1, Fundamentals. The creation of a new working group is underway, the so-called Working Group 6 Anti-corruption will cover the areas of Chapter 5 (Public Procurement), Chapter 18 (Statistics) and Chapter 32 (Financial Control). This new working group is expected to create synergy between WG 3 (Fundamental rights of justice) and WG 4 (Justice, Security and Freedom). Preparations for the first sessions are underway.
