Meeting of the Program Councils of Working Group 4 – Justice, Freedom and Security, and Working Group 6 – Anti-Corruption

On June 18, 2025, a working meeting was held with the program councils of Working Group 4 – Justice, Freedom and Security, and Working Group 6 – Anti-Corruption. The meeting was marked by constructive and dynamic discussion, with active participation from all present members.

The main item on the agenda was the planning of the upcoming sessions of both working groups, including defining and finalizing the topics, identifying relevant participants at the national, regional, and European level, as well as determining possible dates for their organization.

As part of the meeting, an initiative was launched to reactivate Working Group 2: Social Policy and Employment, with its expansion to include the areas of competitiveness and education. The participants recognized the need to involve the civil sector and to provide expert input in these areas, in order to strengthen the quality and relevance of public policies.

The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to further enhance the strategic approaches and the content of the recommendations, aiming for a stronger contribution to the effective implementation of reforms and the country’s progress on its path to European Union membership.
