Meeting of the Program council of WG-4

On 23rd of March 2023, in Irish pub, the Program council of Working group 4 – Justice, Freedom and Security (Chapter 24) held a working meeting, with 2 topics on the agenda, first, finalizing the agenda for the upcoming 11th session, which is planned for April 24, 2023, and second, sharing information about our regional project. The meeting was attended by:

It was shared that the abstract is ready and has been sent to international partners to secure an expert from an EU member state who could present their perspectives on this problem. It was agreed that on Tuesday, March 21, all members of WG-4 would share with the rest of the group how they are dealing with their tasks agreed on this meeting, and continue towards the realisation of the session.

Regarding the international conference, Prof. Gjurovska presented that this project is a regional connection with the National Convention in Serbia and the European Movement in Albania, where the topics from Cluster 1 will be discussed regionally. Several meetings are planned annually and representatives from civil society organizations, as well as representatives from the institutions, will be involved. The first conference will be held on April 11 and 12 in Belgrade.

These meetings will be held in the three countries over a period of 3 years, and the people attending these meetings will be rotated so that all representatives of the WGs will be present. Apart from the members of NCEU-MK, representatives from other civil society organizations were also contacted, some of whom confirmed their presence.
