The European movement in the Republic of North Macedonia (EMMK) and the Association for research and analyses (ZMAI) have signed Memorandum for cooperation. With this Memorandum a frame for joint cooperation and support of activities that promote European integration, regional cooperation, research, analyses and other projects connected to this topics will be established.
EMMK and ZMAI with the Memorandum commit themselves to support the activities of the platform for dialogue “National Convention for European union in the Republic of North Macedonia” (NCEU-MK) with focus on the chapters from the area of economics, as well as other projects and initiatives connected with the European integration, regional cooperation, research and analyses and promotion of joint values and aims that support the processes of the European integration.
During the ceremony of signing of the Memorandum, the president of EMMK, Mileva Gurovska emphasized that this document is being signed on occasion of the 10-th anniversary from the establishment of ZMAI, to which she congratulated the jubilee.
„We work successfully with ZMAI in the last 2-3 years in regards to the economic chapters from the Cluster 1. We have established this communication quickly and we have included the chapters which have not been considered by the CSOs until now. We have opened this area within the negotiation process. The Memorandum is referring mainly to the cooperation in all economic chapters within the negotiation process“, Gurovska said.
The executive director of ZMAI, Viktor Mitevski highlighted that after several years, now is the time to make the cooperation official.
„There is not a better moment to mark this cooperation than with the marking of the 10th anniversary of ZMAI. Today’s session is excellent and it is in line with our premises with which we mark our 10-th anniversary-data speak. We hope that in the future as well we will be able to improve the work of the NCEU-MK and the euro integration path of the country through data“, Mitevski stated at the signing of the Memorandum.
The Memorandum was signed at the Fourth session of the Working group 6 „Anticorruption” entitled: „ “The data we trust: A prerequisite for a stronger economy and an effective fight against corruption”, which was held in Skopje, organized by the European movement in the Republic of North Macedonia within the project National convention for European Union in the Republic of North Macedonia (NCEU-MK).
